DESCRIPTION

(Edit: I CAN'T STOP. I did a belly slap test as well. Unfortunately there's no collision physics I could use so I had to find a workaround. If you want to know how I did it, I just added the physics node to an invisible simple node and I move around the simple node at impact. I added some facial animations as well, but the model is so low resolution there's no way to get it right. But again, I was just testing stuff so it won't be a problem later. Also, if this for some reason made you want to try animating like this, try Nijigenerate instead of Inochi2d. Or if you're a normal person you should just use Live2D, it's way ahead of anything else. Anyways, Rapunzel pages coming soon. I might have to engage in some tomfoolery to get her right.)

1080p 120fps version (the belly slap is only 60fps) in the attachments. If you don't want to read technical stuff you can skip the text below.Yea I did some research. This is just a test animation I made using see-through and Inochi2D. See-through can automatically separate different body parts into layers but unfortunately it really destroys the details. Still a big help with the large parts. Inochi2D is a decent Live2D replacement. It's surprisingly easy to get nice looking jiggle on body parts with it as well 👀 I'm not 100% satisfied with the results but it takes a while to find the perfect parameters for a realistic jiggle . There's apparently a way to getting the exported models to work in Godot but I didn't have the time to test it.
