And I’ll be honest with you guys… I really love this piece. It was one of my very first explorations of Maxi and her living ass Sherrie. Back when I made the original sketch I wasn’t fully convinced, so I left it aside. But now that I’ve turned it into full hyperrealistic style… damn, it has so much potential for shorts!

Other news:
I’ve been having trouble generating voices for Episode 2 of the Maxi & Sherrie crossover. The site I was using has been stuck in “maintenance” for a while now, and it really feels like they’re about to switch to a paid model.
The free AI era is slowly coming to an end… I can handle drawing and animation myself even if it takes longer, but good voice acting is going to hurt. The first animation I showed you with voices turned out amazing, so it’s a shame. I’ve tried other free generators but they’re mostly good for neutral narration, not real acting.
Anyway… I guess I should have seen this coming. Nothing lasts forever.
