Sometimes I will feel so confident in my work, and then my algorithm will show me an artist that completely blows me out of the water. The famous quote, "Comparison is the thief of joy", comes to mind; But I don't want to be happy, I want to draw better!
I'm half joking, but I really do want to improve my work. The first thing I want to work on is my 'composition'. I'm nearing the end of this project, and I wish the parts fit better more cohesively. It's sort of just a bunch of separate scenes. Not that I think it will turn out badly, I just wish they flowed together more seamlessly. I might have a solution.
I need to start fully planning out my animations. Start to finish, make a full storyboard animation. It would help with time planning as well; I should be able to better estimate how long the whole animation will take. Of course, I love spontaneity, and so I'm not against adding in scenes that I think of on the spot. But at least I will have a guideline as to where I'm going. Next big project, I will try this idea out :)
Finishing up this scene, gonna make it loop this week. I also added a sketch I drew this morning. I really like this twisting, stretched out pose. I just can't stop making more work for myself lol. I will probably work on this, and I'll try to do some more audio this week so I don't have to do it all at once later on.
That's all for now! See you next week :)
