Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well.
Today, I want to share some thoughts on the recent release of Episode 3 and give you an update on where we are heading with Episode 4.
Looking Back at Episode 3 & Your FeedbackI’ve been reading through your comments, and I really appreciate the constructive criticism. I’m always listening and trying to improve the game based on your thoughts.
First off, I will be adding a 4th option to the major choice in Episode 3: the option to just head straight back to the dorm after the party. This is for players who want to avoid romance for now, or for those who want to stay strictly loyal to Emily.
Many of you also pointed out that forcing a route lock in Episode 3 (when you barely know all the characters yet) is a bad idea. I completely agree. To clear things up: choosing to walk Fiona home, for example, will not lock you out of the Rebels' or Nikki's routes. None of the current choices permanently close off other branches. We are currently in the "getting to know everyone" phase. When the time comes to make a final, route-locking decision, the game will make it very obvious.
I'm trying to find the perfect balance here. Some players feel choices don't impact the story enough, while others feel they lock things in too fast. I’ll do my best to find that sweet spot moving forward.
Bug FixesA huge thank you to everyone who is still catching and reporting bugs! I’ve noted issues like the overuse of the "Later" transition screen, and some WaveGram choices not triggering correctly in the story. I’ll be fixing these up.
The SoundtrackA few of you asked about the game's music and where to listen to it. The soundtrack is AI-generated using Suno AI. To make it easy for you (so you don't have to unpack the game files), I've started uploading the tracks to a YouTube playlist. I’m still adding them gradually, but you can check it out here:Domino Beach OST
What’s Next: Episode 4The entire script for Episode 4 is 100% written, and it’s quite massive! It will cover 3 full in-game days packed with events, new challenges, fresh problems, and plenty of funny situations.
I’ve already started working on the renders. My main goal this time is to get the episode out faster. Even though the overall script is slightly longer than Episode 3, there are fewer massive crowd scenes (like the tryouts), which makes the rendering process much faster for me.
That’s all for now. Thank you so much for your continued support and feedback!
