I only had silhouettes for the audio about the kraken and the mermaid wanting you to stay on their island, and I didn't really like the look of it, so I spent some time last night drawing a orange haired kraken... Because internet is still out, so why not!
Here is what I ended up with after moving her right arm... because I was going to have her holding the mermaid, but we will see if I do anything like that at some point, this took long enough :D
I think I am getting better even though there are still a lot to improve on . It kinda gets the point across though... Although it didn't really turn out exactly like I wanted. I added a background by getting an image from here, but even though I did search with filter on for creative commons licenses, I don't know if using it is ok. Also black background kinda works too!
Fonts are "Bell MT Bold" and "Berlin Sans FB Demi Bold"... in case I forget like I did with the "Chaparral Pro" font. Haha, I thought that was a standard font built into Windows just because I had had it for so long. I was very surprised to find out it was not, and it took me a while to track it down after I installed everything on my new computer.
Anyhow, today I am going to try to record a part for a horror narration on a channel I am very excited about collabing with, just because horror narration is so different from my channel, but I see a lot of similarities in the challenges we face, especially with the demonetizations sweeping across our communities. They actually seem to be hit harder, unless there are a lot of ASMR channels hit that just don't make a big fuss of it.
Anyway, me commenting on one of their videos made another reach out to me and suggest a collab, and... I don't want to say who it is in case I can't deliver my end of the deal, and it ends up not happening, but he's been really cool and supportive to me so far!
Alright, now I will go make an early lunch so I can get my kid to school!
