DESCRIPTION

Hey!

So recently I finally got my hands on a VR headset.
After playing with it for some time I naturally got interested in the question of how hard would it be to transfer my animations to the VR realm?

The answer is - not that hard but there are still some concerns about how much interest people would have in something like this.
The thing is - to render something for VR and make it at least look decent it has to be in very high resolution with high framerate. Otherwise, the viewer will just puke his brains out.
The other words - takes a lot of time and resources to render even a short clip.

So right now I don't really know if it is going to worth the effort. If there is enough interest - sure. I can probably do this stuff here and there, but I'm not gonna do entire long animations. This would be ridiculous to render.

To have a test subject - I made a VR version of the most recent WIP shot. Animated version of it and I also had put it under the 5$ tier so more people could have an opportunity to see it and have an opinion. It is 180 degrees side by side shot. (360 would be even crazier to render)
You can check it down below.

Let me know what you think of it!
