Hii! So I didn't really mention it here, but my hard drive that has EVERYTHING Dogverse (and art in general) broke. Lovely! I'm picking the recovered files today actually, but I still haven't worked on any videos or anything. It's just difficult, with absolutely everything gone (for now.)
The one thing I didn't lose though, because I hadn't worked on it, was Dogverse comic! The actual one. So I started work on that. I've bought CSP to work on it, and I'm learning a lot. I wanted to share some fun behind the scene stuff. Why not!
Here's one panel from the comic.So I bought Clip Studio specifically so I could use the 3D backgrounds. I do NOT want to draw man made structures. I DON'T WANT TO. At this point I was just slapping models onto the canvas and hoping for the best. For each panel, I'd just drag the items I wanted. Yep, yeah that works fine. That's looking okay. What could go wrong.
....Aaand this is the panel where I was like ok. I need to. Actually make Venti's living room. Is he living in a barren wasteland!? lmao!!
Also, it was bothersome to always drag the items I needed into the scene. That's why it was so empty, the less items I had to keep dragging to the scene, the better.
It was also bothersome to try to understand the layout of the house. Everything was bothersome. Way more bothersome than just making a room.
Here's Venti's living room. Some walls are down for your viewing pleasure so don't mind the floating bookcase and such.
This is before First moves in, of course! That's what made it a lil difficult.. Venti's thing is that everything in his life, including his apartment, is perfectly fine. But he is just an unfulfilled, sad person despite it all. I tried to add things that give the vibe of "this is what a nice house looks like" with no real personality behind it. Venti is going through the motions!
So returning to the first shot, here's him in his new and improved apartment!
