DESCRIPTION

It has no content, so don’t bother. I’m just showcasing the progress made so far.

EDIT: I'm gonna release a more bug-free version on May 31st.

Hey lads!

I’m not releasing the tech demo because I’ve hit a milestone or because it’s ready - quite the opposite. We’re in the middle of working on many things, so the game is very buggy, there’s no real content yet, and placeholders are used everywhere. I’m releasing it now because it’s been almost a year since the last release (and 2 years since I started working on UiTC2:R), and I want to get back to monthly (or bi-monthly) updates. The groundwork for most systems is already done, so I can finally start building the game on the foundation I’ve developed. I want to avoid later remaking features from scratch or adding major systems without preparation, as I learned from mistakes in the old UiTC. Most importantly, I want you to see progress in real time and gather valuable feedback.

To be honest, some of the things I fixed last week for the tech demo may already be broken, because the game is being expanded daily - systems are changing, new content is being added, and features are constantly evolving. I blocked or removed the most game-breaking elements (I believe), but there are still many leftovers not meant to be played right now, since I didn’t have time to test and clean everything up.

There’s already a large amount of content and systems prepared or designed. We have hundreds of pages of world lore, NPC backstories, questlines, and how everything connects. This time I’m working with a proper workflow instead of the spaghetti mess from the old UiTC, so I expect content to be added several times faster than before. I don’t want to make any hard promises right now, but I’d like to have something more playable by summer and get closer to the old UiTC level of content by the end of the year.

Also, reporting bugs isn’t very useful at this stage, but all feedback is welcome, so feel free to be as critical as you want!

CHANGELOG

UiTC2:R 2026.04 vs 2025.07 Tech Demo content comparison - I won't mention every single change, because it would be like writing a book, so I'll just mention the overall stuff, explaining it briefly, while skipping non-important stuff. Also, keep in mind that the stuff below is added and working to some extent, but not finished and most likely uses placeholder data, or might be temporarily disabled or bugged.

Rewritten 95% of UiTC code from scratch (yes, almost everything is remade and it works and runs better now).

Optimization (location changing, events, saving/loading — everything is blazing fast).

Adapted for Android (supports Android, with some stuff further improved so it works better).

Saving/Loading game system.

Send feedback/report bug feature (you can send them directly from the game, automatically attaching screenshots).

Dialogue translation support (the one used in the old UiTC).

Hotkey manager (assign your custom keys).

Cheats (edit stats/skills as you wish).

Isometric locations (game remade into 2.5D to better support open-world elements).

Day & Night cycle (affecting Jane's visibility, NPC amount and types, etc.).

World Travel & Encounters (random encounters happen upon travelling, depending on location and time of day).

Pathfinding with obstacle detection system (Jane and NPCs search for the shortest path and avoid any obstacles).

Home upgrade system (Jane's flat is really old, so she can upgrade each room for money).

NPCs split into 7 Classes (Commoner, Thug, Hobo, Citizen, Gang, Law, Elite).

NPC spawning and walking between points (they enter and leave buildings, stand randomly in various locations).

Unique NPCs have their own schedules (they move around the city based on time and story progress).

NPC reaction system to crime & immorality (they call the police, take pictures, get touchy, etc.).

NPCs have immersive diary logs (mentioning stuff that happened to them and temporarily affecting their stats).

Follower system (Jane can order NPCs to follow her, so going for a date or outdoor sex is done manually now).

NPC Dating mini-game (unique NPCs can be taken for a date, featuring a quiz mini-game).

Random quest (task) system (random NPCs can ask for simple favors, depending on their Class).

Quest log (tracks all kinds of quests and supports custom notes).

Elections system (4 candidates fight for votes over the course of 100 days to become the next city mayor).

Skill Check driven system (everything the player does is done via Skill Checks, which take multiple stats/skills/effects into account).

Primary Needs (Jane has to eat, drink, sleep, wash and optionally pee).

Buff/Debuff system (stats and various effects affect each other, like starving damages health over time).

Desires system (every 6h Jane rolls new wants & fears, and fulfilling them rewards or penalizes her).

Decrees (substitute for weekly buffs, but they are mostly negative and stack for increasing difficulty over time).

Reworked Perk & Trait system (Perks are traits from the old UiTC, while current traits are double-edged effects).

Game Over screen (game supports NG+, with perk experience carrying over and unlocking new backstories/traits via achievements).

Updated character artstyle (remade character art from scratch and going more towards an anime artstyle which animates and behaves better).

Characters in 3 different angles (front, side, back, to supplement isometric locations).

Character creation (body customization, backstories, traits, perks, etc.).

Character presets (save prepared player data or overwrite existing NPCs with custom-made ones).

NPC creator preview (check out how NPCs could look, including both female & male, and save them to be used in the game).

Clothes, accessories, faces, hairs, piercings, tattoos, etc.

Wardrobe system (with animated undressing).

Clothes dye system (you choose your own colors for each clothing piece).

Greatly improved smoother animations (not all yet, but many are already top-quality and really fluid).

Physics-based breasts, skirts and hairs.

Facial expressions & blushing, with alternate versions during sex animations (including NPCs).

Climax animations & effects (working seamlessly across all animations).

Remade and massively improved all UI & HUD to stay consistent.

Tooltips, hovering, show message functions (hover over text with mouse for more info, get messages on the screen, etc.).

Chat bubble & floating text system (characters make comments, any data changes get displayed, etc.).

Quote system (hundreds of chat bubbles on NPCs commenting on Jane's stats or behavior, based on NPC Class).

Message Log system (filter and read through all dialogues, notifications, texts, etc.).

Pickpocket system with NSFW elements and its own mini-game.

Lockpicking system with a sexy vulnerable pose and its own mini-game.

Improved Diner cooking mini-game & serving clients (choose a dish, follow clients' orders, deliver to the table, and deal with happy/angry clients).

Almost every mini-game can be resolved with a dice roll instead.

Break-Free mini-game (if Jane gets caught by an NPC, she has a chance to break free).

Improved how inventory & containers work.

World and ground loot system (interact with the world and pick up or steal loot).

Exhibitionism system (undress and masturbate in public, NPCs react to it).

Introduction (long event with important choices — train, slums, main street, diner, flat).

KNOWN ISSUES:

Cloth/accessory coloring doesn't work, as we are in the middle of updating the artstyle.

Character artstyle update isn't done (we only have the front view).

Masturbation is bugged.

Many, many bugs and placeholders.
