Yo!
So with this next month I have some pretty big project announcements as well as updates on the current stuff. So lets start with that.
1. The Wikipedia Iceberg is almost done and the final part should be out in the next coupe of days!
2. The Next part of the Channel Awesome Retrospective, the one all about Linkaras video is coming up, like I have said elsewhere it will take some time to finish so don't expect it this month or maybe even the next, but do know that it is being worked on in the background.
3. New Dumpster Dive video about AVGN Clones will come out sometime soon as well.
That's it for the current projects, so what about the new stuff?
1. The Newgrounds iceberg: YES that's right I didn't forget about this project, it's been being worked on in the background. Honestly, the main reason it didn't come out sooner was due to the sheer massive size and scope of the project, needing to make my own Iceberg for it, it being a collaborative project with art and a story to make for it, and some fascinating Newgrounds related lore and drama coming out as of recently that made the project take a back seat. I also wanted to focus on getting the Angel Armor and Lightvbringer stuff done this year, it's why I focused on a less intense research-wise iceberg in the meantime with The Wikipedia one. However, with it officially almost done I can say with certainty that the Newgrounds iceberg will be the next Iceberg to come out! So I hope you guys are excited for it!
2. Now for a completely new announcement!
I said before in my Lightbringer Retrospective that I had a more experimental video or two coming up, well those videos are basically gonna be a couple of long-form video essays talking about media from anime, to films, to video games that all deal with the themes of "Identity" "Individuality" "Collectivism", and "Communication".
Some of the media you can expect to be discussed in this will be
Evangelion, Satoshi Kon films like Perfect Blue, American Psycho, Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy 7, + more!
This is a video concept I've had in my head for a while so while it may be a bit different from what you're used to from me I hope you all end up enjoying it!
Not sure what I wanna call this video yet but it'll be something like "Finding Identity in Art" Expect it very soon!
3. Secret topic stand-alone Internet Fables video:
I still don't want the to opening reveal what the topic of this video will be, mostly because I believe this video's narrative is best gone into with as little info as possible. I will quickly say that it is about a far lesser-known internet figure, they have been around since the VERY early days of YouTube, they are still around to this day, and they have at least one very infamous controversy under their belt. The script for this one is being worked on and you can expect it sometime soon as well, and as one final hint, the "identity in art" video essay might be closely related to this Internet Fable in a way that shall only become clear upon finishing both of these videos.
I will also say I have much more stuff planned I just don't wanna give details on yet, As well as some smaller stuff too for this coming October for spooky month so expect more news regarding some of that stuff soon.
Now on to the last bit of news...
THE DISCORD IS CLOSED
Firstly I just wanna say sorry to anyone who donated with the express purpose of getting into the discord, I'll be updating the tier to better reflect this change. I closed it for 2 main reasons, one I just don't have time to go on discord at this point and the server has been left neglected for some time now. The other reason is that I want to focus even more on my creative projects and making more content for you guys. Ideally, I'd like to make more exclusive Patreon and membership videos in the future and provide better perks beyond just a dead Discord server lol.
