Hello there! 👋
Man, April was busy as hell. I had a ton of work and ended up gaming way more than usual. Seriously, you need to check out Expedition 33 — it’s a damn masterpiece! As for Por(n)tals, I spent most of that time writing, and now I can finally say — the script is done! Took a while, but it’s bigger than the previous versions. Now all that’s left is rendering and coding. Still a lot to do, but hey, one less thing to worry about.
In May, I’ll be working on rendering the second world our heroes will visit in version 0.3. It’s a one-time stop, just to give everyone a breather before the main story picks up again. While they’re there, they’ll take part in a quick game show against... Angels. Yeah, why the hell not? Fair warning though: these angels are kinda racist. Not big fans of humans.
If you manage to win, you’ll get a small reward that might come in handy later on. Trust me — you’d rather have it than not. Not gonna spoil more — you’ll see for yourselves.
Current progress
Script - done! 🥳🥳🥳
Renders - making good progress, about 1800 so far. Number’s going up fast. I think that 0.3 will hit around 2500 renders, maybe a bit more.
Code - about 7100 lines of code at this point.
Also, in May I’m finally planning to work on the bios for all the girls, so the menu will be fully finished. Each one will have a basic info, current points count, and bonus renders you unlock by hanging out with them on free days. Hopefully, I can get that done by the next update and show you some screenshots.
Oh, and by the way — the next devlog will probably be the last one. Still aiming for a July release.
Thanks again for all the support and for following this project. Take care of yourselves, guys — wishing you all the best. See you next time.
