Note: the teen will remain part of the household.
You can setup a generic lot or send the teen to a community lot with the Runaway Teen non-goaled event.
For Teen Sims, self click on them and select the Actions menu. Click to Enable Troubled Teen. This will give the teen a needed trait.
With the Troubled Teen trait your teen Sim will have a new social menu with the same title. These are all mean social interactions and will further ruin any relationship you have. Making the teen even more motivated to runaway.
These are interactions you can use with a parent, guardian, and other teens at school. So your teen can be troubled in any situation.
Computer Interactions
The troubled teen will have access to a variety of resources before they runaway. These are optional for storytelling.
How To Run Away From HomeSelf click the Teen and select "Decide To Runaway" from the action menu. This will give the teen the Runaway Teen trait.
This trait unlocks a new social menu "Street Survival". When the teen is roaming around they can use these interactions.
Optional:Runaway Teen social event. This is a non-goaled event that'll last for 24 hours. Otherwise just roam around as you like.
While the teen is roaming around, you can close the event and switch over to the parent Sim for the missing person's gameplay.
Parents And GuardiansWhen you have a teen runaway from home you can switch to the parent and have them use the computer to file a missing person's report. This will give them the Missing Teen Trait and unlock social interaction to help search for them.
To get the missing teen trait, use the computer, missing persons menu, and "Report Missing Person To Police".
You can go to other Sims and ask if they've seen the teen.
Teen Coming HomeWhen the Teen is ready you can return home. Optional, use the disable Troubled Teen to remove all traits and set the teen back to normal. Return home.
The parent can post the teen as found on the computer missing persons menu.

How To Install-Unzip file. Keep all files in the folder. Place the folder in your Sims 4 Mods Folder.-Sims 4 game options, mods and script mods need to be enabled.-Requires the latest version of Sims 4-If there isn't a zip file, just download all the files below, place them in a folder, then your Sims 4 mods folder.
