The first of quite a number of videos following up aspects of the May presentation - this is the one I posted the draft for yesterday.
Currently working on videos on (among others) the pricing changes, sales predictions for their next few games, analysing the success (or not) of DK Bananza, looking at Mario Tennis and the future of Mario sports games... shout if there's any you'd like to see me prioritise.
This seems like a good point to mention - I also have a number of videos, including requests or suggestions from Patreon people or regular viewers, that are on my eternal massive list of videos - usually because they're researchey and often get pushed back. For context, I currently have about a dozen videos recorded that need editing, another dozen or so scripted but not recorded, a similar number where I have research notes but haven't had the time to pull everything together and a list of well over a hundred topic suggestions/requests.
Generally, time-sensitive content takes precedence (and frankly is often quicker to make - less research). Once I lose momentum on something, there's a time cost to getting my head back in it - especially if the complex is big/complex - and I'm very cautious about mode-switching. I'd rather make fast progress on something than necessarily hew to some strict order which means I've never missed a (completely self-imposed and ultimately arbitrary) deadline in 2 and half years but also I have a litany of half-finished project some of them literally years in the making, including some that I think are extremely ambitious and exciting.
The last six or seven months have been especially chaotic for work reasons but I'm hoping that in the back half of the year to start focusing on working through these projects.
