Can't seem to get the previous video to load onto Patreon at all - not sure if it's the size or the video itself as I've started getting error messages. Will try again later.
In any event, this is a reaction to a couple of cool things but the use of PowerPoint slides - actually the first slide is a direct lift from a presentation which I'm using as the basis of a future video (the IP one I've discussed). I'd like to experiment with a slightly different format where I talk unscripted but essentially giving a PowerPoint presentation which contains the research and the skeleton of what's happening.
I'm not sure how well this will work. I already have a video recorded that's a rough version of this and I have presentations prepared for a couple of others. In theory it's less engaging visually than the videos but I wonder. To be fair, people see some of that B-roll so many times -even when I try to vary it up there's often only so much footage of newly-announced games. Having bullets on screen may help people key in easier although obviously it won't help non-English speakers. (Although since Google can translate words within pictures, I assume it's only a matter of time before YouTube gains the same capability).
At any rate, I have a 'pilot' for this about Nintendo's mobile strategy which I'll run here when it's quiet...
