Honestly? Iconic choice. Resident Evil is stacked with some of the most recognisable, stylish, and downright gorgeous female characters in gaming. From tactical badasses to elegant femme-fatales, the series has always had a talent for creating women who feel distinct, original, and unforgettable — not just reskins, but real personalities with strong visual identities.
🥈 NieR: Automata — deserved second place
NieR: Automata doing so well makes perfect sense. It’s sleeks, and unapologetically stylish, with elegant combat. The character designs are instantly recognisable… and the game absolutely knew what it was doing with 2B’s design, right down to the parts everyone remembers first. A different flavour from Resident Evil, but a clear fan favourite 🖤
🥉 Warriors Orochi — the surprise hit
Warriors Orochi was the surprise for me — I wasn’t very familiar with it, but after looking into it, I get why it did so well. Massive roster and a really nice gallery of female characters 👀
