AQ ep2 update
Brief update on AQ progress. Completed the voice edit for the sex scenes and it sounds good, so won't need a lot of re-takes. Completed polish scene 6. Just 7 and 8 remaining and clean-up work after that.
Added an outtake below. If all goes to plan next week will be the last post before the release 😁🤞😍 Added one more 10s outtake below. I have so many outtakes, might do a post on outtakes and bloopers after the release.
New Shorts schedule
Let me talk about shorts for a bit. While I love working on short movies and seeing a long story come together, the bread and butter are still shorts. Shorts are my release for the tons of ideas I have, experimentation and tests. Right now short movies take too long, so I'll go back to basics, rebuild and optimize, starting with 30s shorts! ⌛📀
Yes, I'll force myself to create to a specific duration 😯, starting with the smallest unit of 30s - then 1m, 1.5m, etc up to around 2-3mins. They're faster to make and I need to learn to be focused with my hooks. I scope creep everything and go into too much detail, so I really need to not do that. Faster shorts means faster short movies.
I won't be working on AQ ep3 right away. I'm going to take it one step at a time. I'll make sure I have shorts down before doing long shorts (up to 5mins) and finally short movies.
I plan on kicking off the new shorts schedule the week-end after AQ's release and hope to settle into a frequent content schedule right away. Anyway that's the short of it 😊
