Wow, that was a little too stressful for my liking. I'm normally pretty good at dealing with technical inconvenience but I swear VAM was determined to break me on this one. As you can see the version is now .10 because I had to do that much troubleshooting.
I want to sincerely apologize to all of those who loaded up this scene, found it didn't work and then spent time trying to correct the issue when the mistake was entirely mine.
The initially fixed those issues, which didn't take much time at all only to find that Timeline wasn't registering a good number of the morphs used in animations. Leaving them out of the VAR file entirely and when I added those morphs manually the scene wouldn't use them from a Var file. I spent hours trying to fix this issue with no luck, but I found a work around which I have thoroughly tested and can assure you WORKS!
Its not ideal but I had to package a lot of assets separately that will have to be installed manual, but I made sure it would be a simple drag and drop operation.
In the mega folder you'll now find an archive with all the needed assets. These assets are all of the custom assets I created for scene, you'll find packaged audiobundles with all of my sound effects as well as custom morphs. All of which you are free to use in any way you want, as a bonus for your inconvenience I guess.
Let me walk you through the installation process and I swear it'll work this time!
- First download the scene, dependency txt and archive. Put the Scene and dependency txt in your addonpackages folder.
- There are also a few morph dependencies that refuse to register so you'll have to grab those manually: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/pussy-fingers.1901/ https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/ashauryns-pose-tools-legacy-brows-eyes-frowns-hands-smiles-and-visemes.1178/ and https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/asstd-breast-morphs-pack-by-suparioamateur.7765/ Put those in your AddonPackages folder as well. (If possible you might try to download these through the in-game hub in order to avoid having to allow access during the scene load. Which you'll have to restart VAM after accepting the plugin access in order for everything to load.)
- Unzip the Archive to your VAM folder. You shouldn't have to overwrite anything.
- Open up the package manager inside of VAM, select ElustiasChasm.10 and check for missing dependencies, click download all to get anything you are missing.
- Load the scene, there should be only one lingering error message about a missing morph that timeline can't find but you can ignore that as it doesn't effect the scene.
Tip: This might just be my computer but when making this scene I need to reload the scene several times and I swear VAM suffers from some sort of memory leak as after a few loads the loading time and fps really starts to chug. My suggestion is always perform a pc restart before loading large scenes if you have already had some VAM sessions that day.
I really hope you'll give this scene another shot as I hope that it is truly worth the inconvenience I might have caused. As always please let me know right away if you are having any difficulties!!!
If you aren't too miffed about the whole experience I hope you'll consider leaving a review on the Hub if you like the scene.
The password to the folder should be the same. Message me if you can't find the password in your inbox.
