Hey guys, I think I should do an update, so I have bad and good news, I'll start with the first one.
I'm having trouble animating Sheva and decided to pause for now. I'll definitely finish this video, because in my head it looks very good, but I'll finish it sometime later.
But there is also good news.
For a long time I've been thinking about a strategy game and now I decided to make and publish an alpha version of this game. It's called The Devil's Assistant 😈
I'll be able to publish the alpha build in a couple of months on the f95zone and if I get the necessary feedback, then I'll quit my current job and finish this game completely.
It's a game like Dungeon Keeper 2.
Gameplay: You'll need to develop your dungeon, raiding human settlements outside, stealing people and resources.
But your main resource still be female humans, it's thanks to them that you will be able to increase the size of your army.
An important role is played by the characteristics of the characters, they affect the gameplay and the appearance of the characters.
These characteristics are passed on genetically, a kind of eugenics.
At a high level of the dungeon, you yourself will be able to study and change DNA in the alchemists laboratory, for example, for increasing milk yield. 🍼
Oh yes, milk is necessary to feed and improve the performance of soldiers.
The dungeon has several exits to the outside, through which armies of people will come at random time (kind of tower defense)
At the end of the game, you'll need to kidnap the princess of the kingdom in order to summon the lord of the dungeon to this world (each increase in the difficulty of the raids, the difficulty of the armies of people attacking you will increase as well).
I can’t describe all the mechanics of the game in one post, there are many more of them and I plan to attract freelancers to help when it'll be possible, for example, your current donations are already enough for me to buy UI and icons for the game, thank you, guys!
So maybe I'll finish this project in the next couple of years. It would be great.
