Lana still had to look slightly up at Clark, the same soft, affectionate expression she’d always had. But something was different. Though smaller, Lana looked clearly stronger, her arms and shoulders defined with power and bulk that he'd not even witnessed from his greatest rivals.
He recognized her pink oversized sweater. One of her favourites. Yet, it was like it was washed a couple dozen degrees too hot. It clinged to her body, edges starting to unravell with loose pices of linen fabric.
Clark blinked. “Lana… did you start lifting trucks or something?”
Lana steppd in closer, her wide bulky frame now unmistakable outdoing his.
She smiled like it was the most normal question in the world.
“Only trucks?. You dissapoint me." She held out her hand. “Test of strength?”
Clark hesitated, then took it. His eyes widened immediately. Her grip was firm—shockingly strong. He felt like his kryptonian bones were at the verge of snapping.
Before he could react, Lana gently pulled and Clark stepped forward without meaning to.“…Whoa,” he said, half laughing, feeling a sudden streak of terror.
She gave another casual tug, leading him along as if it were nothing. Yet they weren't heading to the gym, she was taking him to the workshop, a warehouse garage with pick-up trucks, tons of steel and other heavy duty machines.
Lana let his hand go. She looked around all giddy. “Where to begin...”
