Next Video - Every NomNomNami Game
I've fallen back into the rest of NomNomNami's games recently, so I've decided covering her entire solo catalogue will be the next proper video. I'll be rewriting some of the bits from the previous video for audio quality and to flow well with the fact that I'm covering them in release order rather than randomly. It's also an opportunity to update my opinions on some things I was too quick to criticize, like the pacing in Starry Flowers.
Also a lot of my opinions on her games have shifted. The two Syrup games have risen to become my favourites, along with Syrup and Gumdrop becoming my favourite characters.
Every game except Princess Poffin and Sex Advice Succubus has been recorded, and many of the remaining games have been written, with only Lonely Wolf Treat, First Kiss, Sex Advice and Princess Poffin to go. Any prospective rewrites haven't been done yet.
This one's looking to be a chonky boy.
Patron Exclusive - Spore Mockumentary
Though the Imoen Romance video was voted on, the Spore video is a lot less of a hassle to make so that will be next. I'll be doing a mock animal documentary voiceover of the Cell and Creature Stage, featuring a horrid creature who is an excessively violent herbivore, defying all reason and sense.
Recording is partway through the creature stage and I suspect this will be about ten minutes long. Like the others, it'll be available to Cryptid Patrons for a week before being available to Legacy Patrons, Channel Members, and on the Patreon shop for 150% pledge price.
Regarding Decay
Given how popular the Coffin of Andy and Leyley video was, I've been inundated with questions about covering Decay.
Short version: Yes, but only when it's complete.
For reasons that are known only to the author, she decided to split Decay into two episodes and release one half now and the other half yonks from now. What is present in the update is two routes, one of which ends in a cliffhanger, and the other which splits off into a suicide ending and a sad ending (no you read that right).
The cliffhanger, the more narratively interesting of the two, cuts off before anything of note can really happen after 4 hours of flashbacks. The other ending, Shots and Such, is just a long, agonizing pain train that includes, among other things, Ashley graphically raping Andrew. As it stands currently, a video on just "Part 1" would just be a rote acknowledgement of the obvious (Andrew's an extreme abuse victim, Ashley is wrong to think sex will fix things between them, etc) with nothing psychologically to chew on.
I have recorded every ending, so I have the footage. However, there is a caveat. I lost the footage of the original two episodes and had to re-record it. If something happens to cause me to lose the footage of Decay, any plans for this video will be immediately scrapped. I will NOT put myself through that again.
This game is deeply triggering, Decay even more so than the first two, and playing through it was actual hell. It's only the fact the first one exploded in viewership that is compelling me to do this at all.
