Something’s been bugging me for some time about the structure of the Patreon tiers.
They were created when I had much larger ideas about where things were going, and when I had far more time to devote to fulfilling promises made than I do these days.
Previously, there were four tiers. If you’re seeing this message, you’re part of that group, and I want to say upfront that I’m deeply grateful for your support.
But I also want to be honest with you. Patreon has changed how I approach my work in a way that hasn’t been healthy. I resisted monetizing for years for that exact reason. Maybe that apprehension stems from anxiety, or imposter syndrome. Either way, the result has been the same.
Over time, I’ve grown to fear letting you down. Maybe some switch in my head is stuck. I’m not sure. What I do know is that I don’t want to work from that place.
As such, I've consolidated what I know is sustainable into one new tier: LA TRIUNUO.
It's $1.30. Think of it as a tip jar.
It includes access to exclusive content and early access to public content.
The other tiers have been unpublished. I know it’s a bit of a strange ask, but I hope those of you on those tiers will cancel those subscriptions.
And no, you don’t have to swap to LA TRIUNUO. Only if you want to, and only if you’re stable enough to do so.
I understand times are difficult for many of us.
