I feel like these three episodes completely shattered whatever idea I had of where Daredevil was going to go, ever.
I though this season would be pretty straightforward after meeting Frank Castle. Matt and Frank's ideals would clash. Hero versus antihero. Mercy versus punishment. And while that's definitely still a huge part of this story, the show has now quickly slipped into something much bigger and messier and... creepier.Frank's trial was honestly a bit heartbreaking for me. I keep seeing the man underneath the Punisher. But he keeps getting pulled in so many directions. At the same time, Matt's life feels a bit similar. Every choice he makes seems to create three new problems. His relationships are crumbling, his career is burning, and Elektra just keeps pulling him toward a version of himself that frankly scares me. And then Stick graced us with his presences again...And this is where I started feeling genuinely lost. Suddenly there's ancient organizations, secret wars, mysterious assassins, NOBU IS ALIVE???, and everyone is talking like there's this entire history that we've only seen a tiny glimpse of. I felt like I was constantly trying to keep up with the show while it just sprinted right ahead of me at every angle.I'm confused. I'm suspicious of everyone. I don't know who is good or bad or if that even matters here anymore. I'm worried for Matt. I have absolutely NO idea where all of this is headed anymore... Which probably means the show is doing exactly what it's meant to do. I can't wait for more! This is definitely my favorite Season so far 🔥
