A brief history lesson is in order here but about a year ago I came across a reddit thread wondering why sims couldn't break up with other sims over text. This was very early on in our modding journey so a lot of trial and error was needed to make this work but it does! So let's get down to what this mod has to offer (in case you're new to this)
THINK BEFORE YOU TEXT
We're human and emotions do be emoting so sometimes, we find ourselves reacting first and thinking about things later. That's true for our sims as well. Which is why I made a small change to the Break Up Over Text feature. Now your sims won't be able to send that text to end things with that special (or not so special) someone! If you still want to go through with it, your sims will need to talk things out first!
NO DEBATE HERE
I've added a new interaction for your sims to gain some perspective and reflect on their relationship! Once they've finished they'll gain a new moodlet:
It lasts for 3 Sim days and during that time frame your sims can continue to use the break up over text like before.
MAKE UP OR BREAK UP ?
Digital Romance allows your sims to break things off with their significant others (Dating, Engaged or Married Sims Only) by accessing the Digital Romance Phone App:
Once you've selected the sim of choice, the break up shall begin! Both the Dumper and the Dumpee will get their own set of Buffs.
SLOW AND STEADY
Digital Romance isn't just for breaking up...OH NO its also for asking out sims as well!
Asking Someone to make things official over text will give your sims a few buffs!
EXPLAIN THIS
Now POST-BREAKUP, The Dumpee Sims can get down to the bottom of it and Demand Break Up Reason which yes, you as the player can CHOOSE! Each Choice will have a different set of reactions so be careful about what you choose OR you can Explain Break Up Reason
Moodlet Examples:
Breaking Up through Digital Romance will give a new relationship type:
APOLOGY...ACCEPTED? Maybe...
If your sims are somehow in a good place to be in the same room as one another, they can reconcile by using the Apologize for the BreakUp and your sim can choose to forgive or completely ignore the request. It's up to you!
Special Note: Depending on the choice you make it can affect your sims' relationships drastically! So choose wisely!
A CLEAN SLATE
One of the things I wanted to add to the update was for sims who choose to give their relationship a second (or third, or fourth or...you know nevermind) chance, I've introduced a new relationship type "Fresh Start" which will give your sims literally a clean slate! Their romance bar get set back to 0 and they lose romantic/attraction satisfaction (if you own LoveStruck) and their friendship is set at a decent range. It's up to you if you decide if the relationship can move past the problems of the past
WOO-HOO...No Seriously
Shoutout to smolpeach08 for the wonderful idea! Don't have time for something serious? Well, now you can send a "WooHoo Text" to have sims come over and spend the night. They'll arrive with a flirty mood so what happens between your sims and their guests is up to you! (Similar to Ask to Go Steady, sims will need Friendship level 30 minimum for it to show up!)

Interactions
I've added a few new interactions now sims can Talk About Last Cupid's Corner Date, Read Love Horoscope or watch Latest Passions Cove Tartosa Episode! Some interactions will give notifications/dialogue some are just for gameplay/storytelling purposes! Some interactions can be found on the Computer or by clicking other sims!
BREAKUP GONE VIRAL (REQUIRES HIGH SCHOOL YEARS)

This mod is called Digital Romance after all! So why not make it to where sims can POST ABOUT BREAKUP on Social Bunny? (Sims who've been dumped over text can do this)
