Hey Everyone its Jordy here and well, we got some stuff to discuss!
Paralives
Okay so I just want to address something real quick regarding Paralives! So I've released two mods so far on steam if you'd like to download them you can follow me on Steam! Now that the shameless promo is over with lol, I do want to bring up something important.
I have no intentions of quitting modding for The Sims. I've said in the beginning this is a journey we're on together and it's going to stay that way! Paralives Mods will be posted on Steam Workshop and I'll make QUIPS (Patreon's quick post thing) announcing when they're posted.
I'll be honest the modding over there in Paralives is a bit easier once you've gotten used to the basics but for the most part it's still in early access and if I'm being honest, personally, I'm holding off from regularly posting anything mod wise until the game has gotten further along because truth be told, we don't know what changes coding wise may come about in the meantime! There are some fantastic creations and mods posted in the workshop though so I would definitely give a look through!
But all this to say if I do anything modding wise for Paralives it will be occasional! Now things may change when we get the full release out!
Future Mod Work
The next couple of months are going to be a little different for me. Nothing bad I promise but it will change how my modding is done for a bit! I've got TWO new mods on the way between now and the end of July! After that I will no longer be doing Road Maps. I feel as though because of how my workflow is, I change so many ideas and jump on so many projects, it's unfair to make posts about what to expect and at the last minute I change my mind on those projects being released. Scribble Scrabbles (Quick WIPs not the BIG ones will still be a thing)
With that being said there's another change coming, I'm attempting it this year but I'll be sure to start it next year moving forward, I want to focus on my Modular Mods. So that means, World Tour, Growing Pains and now Ever After, will be getting more frequent gameplay updates instead of waiting long stretches of time in between!
These Updates may or may not be like how they were before like for example when World Tour came out it was months before World Tour V2 was released. Granted a lot of mods came in between and there were a lot of features added to V2. I want to start zeroing in on my modular mods and adding updates (and fixes) throughout the year instead of one big update every year, if that makes sense!
I can announce that World Tour V3 will be the first I guess "attempt" to see how you all feel about it! So it won't be AS BIG as World Tour V2 but it will give me the chance to add some depth to the updates vs. me adding a bunch of stuff that will need an update down the line!
Let me be clear, this does not mean we're not getting other types of mods! It just means you'll be seeing more of World Tour, Growing Pains and Ever After throughout the year! I still have way too many project ideas (notion list is saying 20+ mod ideas im not even joking)!
A Site for Sore Eyes
I know we've talked about this on and off but I REALLLY want to get a website up and running later this year so you guys will have another place to see all the things! So keep an eye on that, fingers crossed by the end of the year!
That's all I had to say you guys! I hope you all have a wonderful week <3
