Our new update is finally here for the Public Release! 🚀
And yes, once again it's the biggest update yet—it seems every new release just keeps getting bigger and bigger... Haha 😅✨
This time we've got over 1000 new renders and 5000 lines of code in this update alone (including more animations and higher frame-rate animations)! 🔥
This brings us to a grand total of 2600 renders and over 15000 lines of code—our baby sure is growing! 🥹🎉
This update marks a major turning point in our story:
For the Blue path (love) players, things are about to get very real for Doug—if he chooses to play with fire, of course... 💙🔥
For those on the Red path (cheating), brace yourselves—the storm has already arrived! 😈🌪️
Two important recommendations for this update:
I very strongly recommend playing with audio (ideally with headphones 🎧), especially the final parts. It will immensely enhance the experience!
Consider starting a fresh playthrough. I've made several tweaks and adjustments that'll help you fully appreciate the new events and see the bigger picture clearly.
You might've noticed the current release is 0.5.2. Here's what's going on:
Version 0.5.1 was a quick round of bug fixes.
Version 0.5.2 includes important optimizations to fix crashes that were occurring on lower-end devices (especially Android) during the more demanding animation scenes with SFX near the end of the update.
