Delta 2.0b4: Redesigned Settings + Cheats & New Feature from Epilogue!

Howdy Patrons!Bet you didn’t expect us to be back so soon, but here we are with another Delta 2.0 beta! Delta 2.0b4 is now available and features some more sleek redesigns for Liquid Glass and even a very exciting experimental feature 🧪First and foremost, we’ve completely rethought the Delta settings screen to make it prettier, but also easier to navigate. It’s been a while since the settings page got some love and after all the updates we’ve been making to Delta, it was time we rethought the settings hierarchy. In addition to some colorful icons for each line, settings are now grouped in an easy-to-read format that’s much more compact, making it easier to find what you’re looking for! And now some of the more advanced settings and experimental features will be more visible to everyone, so you might even find a new feature you never knew existed – like Menu Button Gestures! This is a big change to the settings page, so please let us know if you have any feedback since we’ll want to incorporate that before the final release.And continuing with redesigns, Liquid Glass has now made its way over to the Cheats screen! Now the cheats page has the same clean, modern feel as the rest of the Delta app. Plus, we also added in the option to choose an icon for each cheat so that you can customize the look of each cheat. It’s never been more fun to hack your games 😈That’s not all though, we also have a few exciting updates to experimental features – specifically from the Epilogue team! Now in experimental features, you can enable support for Epilogue cartridge readers so that you can use Delta directly with a GB or SN Operator. When you plug in a cart to your iPhone or iPad, you’ll now instantly see the game pop-up in the Game Library for GBC/GBA or SNES respectively. So whether you want to pick up where you left off years ago or just want to relive the feeling of playing a game with the cartridge popping out the back, now you can! This feature is brought to you straight from the Epilogue team who was kind enough to contribute this as a pull request on GitHub, so big shout out to them!!With that, we’re nearing the end of the Delta 2.0 beta cycle, but we still have a couple more surprises up our sleeves to share with you for the next update – stay tuned!
