🚀 AltStore 2.0b5 is now available! This release features some important changes as well as major UI updates, including optimized support for screenshots and an all-new Sources tab 🎉
The new Sources tab makes adding and managing sources a much better experience. Every source now gets a unique colored banner listing the total apps in that source, which you can tap to view the full source page. We’ve also completely rethought the UI for adding new sources to make it more intuitive, and we’d love to hear what you think!
We’ve also revamped AltStore to better handle screenshots from newer iOS devices. Apps can now include both iPhone and iPad screenshots, and screenshots taken with Face ID iPhones will have their corners automatically rounded. You can also now view full-screen previews by tapping them from the app detail screen and even swipe through all screenshots straight from the Browse tab.
And for source creators, we’ve also made a number of improvements such as a simplified `appPermissions` format, removing the need for an `identifier`, and improved error messages. We’ve updated our FAQ with more detailed information, so be sure to check it out:
