With the cosmic feedback loop continuing to accelerate, Stargirl eventually had absorbed enough cosmic power into her body to be able to transmute the staff and belt into her being, thereby taking eternal control over their power. At this point, she could cease her growth, but she was enjoying it too much and decided to go a bit, well, a lot, further.
