Nari, a woman camping out in the woods, discovers a strange bunny-like creature with bubbles on its ears.
Nari, a red-haired woman, was camping up in the woods, and had taken a bath in a hot spring she had just found. With her clothes folded neatly just a few feet away, the woman was dressed in just a bright blue bikini. Barely covering her rather voluptuous chest with a triangle design, and high-cut bottoms that showed off her plump thighs made her attire look quite skimpy. But the bright pastel color and the frills lining the strings added a cute charm, contrasting well with her dark, tanned skin. Her long red hair floated along the warm, steamy water, resting her head against the rocks as she stared at the darkening orange sky with her bright green eyes.
Having a grueling office job back at home, Nari barely had any free time for herself, spending what little free time she had watching videos of bunnies before going to sleep. The overworked woman wanted pet bunny so badly, she had even put a lot of research into what she would need would take to take care of one. Unfortunately, she just didn't have the money to adopt one, So, once she had a three-day weekend for the first time in months, she took the opportunity to get as far away from the city as possible. Surrounded by wilderness and the quiet rustling of the trees, Nari breathed in the cool, smog-free air and let out a deep sigh as she closed her eyes. The woman felt as if she could just drift off on the spot, until she heard some rustling nearby, turning around to see something small emerging from a bush. With a jolt, the woman turned around and looked over to see what looked to be a little rabbit. But something was off, as she noticed two little translucent spheres resting on the tips of its ears. Its eyes were unusually wide, almost cartoonishly so, like an anime mascot. Its fur was smooth and white, but with a little pinkish hue, reminding her of strawberry ice cream.
Not wanting to draw its attention, she ducked down under into the water as she looked at its cute, bubbly eyes. The creature was adorable. Its body looked so round and soft, its legs were stubby and plump, and its cartoony face was just precious. Then it suddenly did something that took her off guard, sitting up on its legs, but not the same way that a normal rodent would. Its front legs didn't rest over his chest, but rather to its sides, hanging from dainty little shoulders like arms. Not only that, but it wasn't even bending its stubby legs, it was standing upright. The bunny didn't look like an animal at all, but like a cartoon character from one of those anime monster mascots. Making little squeaks, the creature began rubbing its little face with its paws, its curved mouth widening into a smile as it began walking towards the hot spring.
Ducking all the way behind the rocks, Nari tried to stay completely still as the bunny approached.
“Does this thing want to take a bath too?” she thought to herself.
As the steps to approach, she ducked down and huddled behind one of the rocks as the bunny stood at the edge of the hot spring.
“WHEEE!” the creature shouted with glee as it did a cannonball into the water, resulting in just a little splash as it settled into the water. Bapping its little paws in the water, the bunny splashed around a bit as it giggled like a squeaking guinea pig. Nari could only blush as she watched the cute creature frolic about, playing without a care in the world and a smile on its face.
“It looks like a little pokemon!” she thought to herself, her heart melting just from the sight of its cute face.
It reminded her of a chibi animal mascot from those magical girl anime as watched as a teen, giving the woman the urge to go over and squeeze the little creature like a plush toy. With its cute toy-like appearance, Nari could imagine herself keeping the little creature as a companion.
Soon, the creature let itself float in the hot spring, with just the top of its head sticking out from the water as it closed its eyes. Seeing this as an opportunity, Nari had made her decision. Slowly, she stuck her arm out of the water, just subtly enough she wouldn’t make a splash. Reaching over the rocks, she grabbed her bag, carefully emptying out the extra clothes packed inside and holding just above the water. And with that, she tiptoed to the creature, stepping just one inch at a time so as not to startle it. However, regardless of how quiet she was, her movements made just a tiny ripples in the water, making the bunny stir. But by the time it opened its eyes she was already upon it.
“Whee?”
The creature only had enough time to squeak before Nari shoved her sack over its head, scooping it out of the water and swiftly locked it shut with its side-release buckles.
“Gotcha!” she shouted with a smile, standing up proudly as she held the bag out in her hands.
“WHEEE!? WHEEEE!!!” The creature squeaked in a panic, frantically pawing and thrashing within the sack, trying to get out.
“Aw… don’t worry sweet thing.” Nari, said as she hugged the wiggling sack against her chest.
“Mama’s going to take good care of you.”
With playful wiggle of her hips, she made her way out of the water, holding the sack tightly as her would-be pet wiggled under her arms. Stepping out of the hot spring, Nari placed the sack at he feet, letting out a deep adoring sigh as she watched the bag wiggle. But then, as she turned around, the creature stopped squealing, letting out what sounded like a groan. Then, with the subtle hisssss, the top bag began to bulge out as what appeared to be a shiny translucent film began expanding from underneath top, slowly straining the side buckles.

It wasn't until she heard the sound of creaking leather that she turned around, only to see her bag bulging at the seams. The woman dropped her clothes with a gasp, taking a step back as the buckles broke under the growing pressure.
BOMP!
The bubble’s top bounced out from the bag as the flap was forced open, wobbling up and down with a hollow drum-like quiver. Now the size of a beach ball, the bubble continued to expand like a balloon, jiggling delicately as if it were made of jelly. Within a couple moments, the bubble had grown to the size of an exercise ball, rounding out as the surface became more boucny. The bubble’s sloshing slowly turned a rubbery creak, sounding almost like an overinflated balloon, becoming more taut.

With a deep RIP, the backpack exploded at the seams, sending pieces of leather flying every which way. One piece even flew past her head, making her squeal as she shielded her face. When she looked back at the bubble, she saw a small distorted silhouette rising up from inside of it, pushing against the top surface as it bulged outward.
POP!
Taking a deep, squeaky breath, the bunny’s head emerged from the bubble as it winced with a squeak, quickly tuning its attention to Nari.
“Wheeeee…” the creature groaned, staring at the woman with a determined glare as its bubblely little ears perked up. Its cheeks puffed up, squeaking under its breath as its stubbly little arms broke the bubbles' surface. With some effort, it began slowly pulling itself out of the bubble, the surface gently bobbing and blooping beneath it one stubby little limb at a time. Something within Nari’s gut told her to turn around and get away, but she couldn’t take her eyes off the cute little bunny. Even while angry, she still found it irresistibly cute, especially with its pouty little lips and puffed-up cheeks.
Finally, the bunny pulled itself out of the bubble, flopping onto the surface with a soft Bwomp. After letting out a relieved sigh, it wasted no time getting back up on its feet, and turned to face the woman who had tried to capture it.
Suddenly, the bunny drooped its ears behind its head, letting out a huff before flicking them forward, launching its bubbles directly at Nari. The woman didn’t even have time to react before both the bubbles landed directly on her feet with a wet PLAP.
“AH!” Nari gasped, as she stumbled backward, only to lose her balance as her feet refused to move with her, clumsily falling on her butt. Cushioned only by the plentiful grass surrounding the hot spring, she looked down at her feet in shock to see that they had been encased by the bubbles. Indenting around her ankles like massive water droplets, it looked like she was wearing a pair of glossy balloon shoes.
It took Nari a couple of moments before she snapped out of her disbelief, and began tugging her feet back.

But to her shock, she couldn’t dislodge her feet, the bubbles remained sealed over her lower ankles, stretching out like rubber as the slick membrane remained anchored to the ground. It looked like her feet were stuck in two inflated wads of gum.
“HUH!?” expailmed in confusion, still trying to pull her feet free as she grabbed the grass behind her for leverage.
“Weh…” the bunny huffed, lifting its chin up as it watched the woman struggle, as if to say: “Serves you right!” Crossing its arms, as two more bubbles inflated from the tips of its ears.
Nari tried to crawl backward, pulling her feet with her, only to feel the cold, rubbery film squeeze her feet with every pull. It wasn’t until then that she realized that her feet weren’t just stuck inside the bubbles, but the film had tightly wrapped around them. The bubbles had formed a double-layered seal, almost like she was wearing a pair of glossy translucent socks inside. Nari couldn’t even pull more than a few inches away before the bubbles sprang back with a bwomp, yanking her forward again. Nari’s blood ran cold, leaning back in fear that the bunny was going to splash her with boiling hot bubble fluid. But as she put her hands up, several little blue suds began emerging from its rippling bubbles, slowly inflating until they were each the size of a softball. After a few seconds, the bunny let out a breath as its ear bubbles stopped boiling and returned to normal, with over 2 dozen similarly sized bubbles now floating around it.
At first, the bubbles just floated around gently, bobbing delicately even without so much as a breeze. For a moment, Nari was relieved, since the bubbles didn’t appear dangerous or steaming hot like she had thought at first, although they seemed to be opaque instead of clear. Then, with an indifferent look of confidence in its eyes, the bunny raised one of its stubby paws and snapped its fingers. Almost if on cue, the bubbles began to slowly drift toward her one by one, as if each guided by an invisible hand.
Nari gave her feet an instinctive tug as they floated closer, but bubbles anchoring her simply kept her in place. The bunny then dropped its round rump down on its exercise ball-sized bubble, sitting down while keeping its arms crossed as it kept its eyes on her. It didn’t take Nari long to guess what would happen if the bubbles touched her. Leaning forward, she tried to stand back up, only for both her feet to wobble and shake beneath her. Even when she tried to put her weight down on her feet, the bubbles kept them suspended in the center, making it impossible to stand up.
By the time she realized it was pointless, one of the bubbles was already upon her, floating directly to her face. With a gasp, she threw her arms up just in time, catching the bubble in her left hand.

With a cold, wet, splat, the bubble completely wrapped over her hand, forcing it to curl into a fist as if it were a ball mitt. In a panic, Nari grabbed at the mitt with her right hand, trying to peel it off. It felt like a wet, plastic stress ball, the material squishing under her hands like gelatin. Digging her fingers into the surface, she managed to puncture the bubble, as she felt her digits sink inside. But instead of popping, her fingers were met with an intense suction, the membrane swiftly pulling her hand in with a wet plop. Just like that, both her hands were cramped together in a tight double-layered bubble cuff. Nari’s Breath quickened as she tried to pull her hands out, but the membrane remained tightly puckered around her wrists, the bubble stretching slightly before springing back.

Suddenly, the bubble puffed up to twice its size, taking on the shape of a cartoon paw. “EH?” was the only thing she could let out before it suddenly tugged her arms up, the bubble pulling her off the ground and forcing her to stand. Nari winced, preparing for the inevitable, only for the bubbles to part ways right as they were upon her.
