I took a "half day" off yesterday but not really haha. I responded to some kind comments, replied to some emails and then I decided to take the day off and play some Elden Ring but 1 1/2 hours in I just really wanted to work on drawing some new designs for future projects. I have wanted to create a lioness forever but I just haven't had the time. So I decided to take a short break from finishing my current commissions and decided to finally draw my lioness design that I have been dreaming of. I ultimately scrapped the half day off Idea. I'm honestly so blessed and I thank each and everyone of you who have helped support me, weather it's through watching my videos, engaging with my content, or being one of my Patrons. I love making plushies and I still can't believe I can do what I absolutely love for my career. I want to make so many things and you all have made it possible! So anyways, what was going to be my day off turned into a design session. I really should be taking these design brakes in-between my sewing session to help bring to life so of these plushies I have been dreaming of. I think it will keep me sharp and focused. Sometimes I just try to push myself all the way through the sewing process and I feel like it may be more healthy to sprinkle in some design work here and there to keep me sharp, motivated, and allow myself to capture the inspiration when it hits me. Like the foal I still really want to make and will be making. I've got a lot of commissions ahead of me and a lot of new patterns to make soon. I think it will be nice to work on the foal design soon here too. I don't have a commission of one yet but I think it will be nice to start working on some of these passion projects on the side so that I can be ready to start making them if they do get commissioned or if I have room to make premades. I hope to make lioness soon all though it seems so far away. I really want one haha.
