with the US dollar doing fun stuff, i took a baseball bat to my price structure and made it more granular. typically my comms are all-or-nothing ordeals and at this juncture it is not financially viable to keep that up.
i have several people who follow me who are in areas that are disproportionately impacted by this, specifically australia. if you are a client from australia, or another of these regions where my prices are effectively 2x-4x what i am asking for, please talk to me abt the numbers and how they look for you. my price range is now from $55USD - $225USD+. all prices will now vary on amount of subject drawn and amount of required detail as opposed to the flat-quote. something i've introduced are icons/busts and waist-up shots; there's SEVERAL kink pieces i do where a waist-up is MORE than sufficient. (you'd be surprised how often you do not need the full body drawn for a piece to be effective, believe me.)
i do not offer sketches. all prices are for lined, colored work. ... except lab rats. shhh.
No Background;icons / busts will be ~$55.waist-ups will be ~$75.full body will be ~$100.
Background;~$125 - ~$225prices on background vary greatly depending on what the hell is going on in said background and how it is engaging w/ the character. projects that require more knitting between background and foreground will be more expensive; more buildings, more posters, more details = more expensive.(a background will only reach the max-cap at a client request; if i detail stuff that's on me.)((if your order costs more than $225 we're doing something new, i think.))
Lab Rat;~$85 - ~$119lab-rats will be back with limited slots this opening. up to 2 applicants will be chosen.the $85 option is a sketch page and the $119 option is the sketch page + a color piece (and whatever else i make on the way to said color piece. some people have gotten scans of traditional shit and the knowledge their OC is kicking about in my personal journal.) the color piece can be anything from a full-paint to a bust; i do what i do with what i feel i need to do at the time of the doing.these are artistic freedom grab-bag pieces and should not be purchased by those looking for more say and control in their final piece. applicants supply OC information + references, we chat a little, and then you do not hear from me for Severals of Weeks as i pingpong between your character study and other work.at the end, you have a page full of sketches [5+]. some are fullbodies, some are busts, some are stupid, some are cute. you get what you get and i cannot and will not emphasize this any further.'where's the lab rat example...?' several of the used examples on the above sheet are actually from labrat sessions! :)
