Apollo Studios is taking its next big step.
For a long time, Apollo has been built around one central idea: queer stories that put characters and our community first. The kind of stories that make people feel seen, understood, devastated, healed, obsessed, and maybe just a little bit feral from time to time ;)
Now, we want to help more of those stories exist.
We’re officially opening applications for the Apollo Studios Creator Partnership Program, a new initiative designed to support independent LGBTQ+ storytellers, artists, writers, visual novel creators, game developers, render artists, comic creators, and other narrative-focused creatives.
This program is for creators who have a story they believe in, but who may need guidance, structure, feedback, mentorship, or support bringing it into the world.
Through this partnership, Apollo Studios can offer support with things like:
• Narrative and character development• Emotional pacing and story structure• Visual storytelling and composition• Visual novel, prose, 3D art, web comic, or story-game guidance• Technical and creative feedback• Marketing support• Editorial-style critique aligned with Apollo Studios’ creative standards
This is not a paid mentorship scheme. There is no upfront fee and no ongoing cost to apply or be accepted.
Instead, accepted projects will be developed in partnership with Apollo Studios and released under the Apollo Studios banner, with an exclusive early release period on our Patreon before creators can share their work elsewhere.
We are especially interested in projects with strong emotional grounding, clear narrative intent, LGBTQ+ themes or characters, and a creator who is open to collaboration, feedback, and revision.
Supported project types may include:
• Visual novels• Story-driven games• Original fiction or serialised stories• 3D rendered narrative projects• Web comics• Other visual or interactive storytelling formats
That said, this will be a selective process.
Apollo Studios is not looking to accept every project. We are looking for creators whose work aligns with our values, creative identity, and goal of building a broader home for LGBTQ+ storytelling.
You do not need to be perfect. You do not need to have everything figured out. You do not need to arrive with a fully finished masterpiece. But you do need to care deeply about your story and the content you want to create.
If you’ve been sitting on a story, a visual novel idea, a comic concept, a rendered project, a queer romance, a supernatural drama, a character-driven game, or something strange and heartfelt that doesn’t quite fit neatly into one box, this might be for you.
