Stepping into the bathroom I'm glad that I have this space to myself. My father might be an ass, and the family business might be a joke, but at least it offers some comfort and privacy.
If this past year has taught me anything, it's that I need to stay in control of my anger. I can't let it consume me. The rage has a mind of its own, and I need to keep it in check.
Staring at my reflection in the mirror I find it hard to meet my own gaze. What a joke, I can't even look at myself... Have I really fallen that far that I can't stand the sight of my own reflection? I thought I 'd worked through this... I thought I 'd accepted it.
"No. I can't work myself up," I sigh, pulling away from the mirror. Dropping my towel I sit on the side of the bath testing the cold waters. It's definitely freezing, let's hope it's cold enough to cool me down.
