Hello my fans, here's the update I promised you. It was long overdue.
Are you back for realsies?I am back for realsies.
What happened?In short, depression. I had a very long lasting relationship that ultimately fell apart and it hit me very hard. This is by far the biggest reason. Now I'm trying to heal from it and I'm living alone again. I feel like I can start creating like I used to and better balance my content with my full time irl job.
The second biggest reason was feeling like what I was doing would not be appreciated. There's a few factors that made me think this way. The first one was when they took down my Youtube channel and the consequent looming threat that one day the credit card companies would demolish everything even slightly hypno related. Why put in effort when they could just wipe me off the face of the planet with a click? Now though, I realize this is just yet another challenge among many. Content can be reuploaded. Fandoms can be built again. It's not over until one wishes it to be.
The second factor was AI. At first, it looked unstoppable. Everything, especially online hypno, could easily be replaced for free and it was 100% safe too, unlike a lot of predatory human interactions. Now that it's been a few years since its inception, it's clear that AI is not what it was hyped up to be. Most interactions are dull and repetitive, you get censored constantly and it's not free anymore. Why pay for an AI when you could pay for a real person? Unless you are looking for that specifically, there's no replacing anymore.
The third reason was my intention to explore other kinks under the hypno umbrella that would either be incompatible with Patreon or with my established community. For example, feet or the-one-where-you-send-money-to-others-for-fun (which I believe it's still heavily bannable on here). At first I sort of gave up on everything that wasn't hypno and that made me feel unfulfilled. Now, I think I found out what I want to do: I can curate my content on here and indulge the rest in private messages on other social media. It wasn't that hard after all.
What's the Hypno Vault?You might have noticed I made slight changes to my "brand" and Patreon page. So what's the Hypno Vault? It's literally this Patreon page.I wanted to emphasize that curating, safeguarding and preserving the library of files I've built over the years would be my top priority, especially in the face of an ever more regulated online space that requires constant attention and tiptoeing, whereas creating new files would be secondary.I still plan to record more but I won't go back to my heyday where I was making 2-3 audios a week. Making one a month would still be a 12x improvement over last year so I think I'll aim for that first and see where to go from there.
What's changing?Access to the Vault will increase to $20/month and it will be the only available tier.People who are currently subscribed to other tiers with retain full access until they unsubscribe, at which point they won't be able to join lower tiers again.I will run promotions for special occasions that allow new people to join the $10 tier and retain access until they unsubscribe so don't worry if you missed your chance because there will be more.For people who are looking to send more, perhaps because they really enjoy my voice, they can do so using my newly created Throne page whose link can be found in my linktree here.
