Imagine the feeling of weightlessness that would come from floating in space.
It's not an easy thing to imagine, most of us have never floated in space, after all.
But just try to imagine it nonetheless.
You are floating in space.
You are staring at a beautiful nebula, lazily spinning away in the distance.
As it spins, so do you. Weightless. Moving yet unable to move at the same time.
All those shiny colors. All sorts of matter reacting to one another in endless explosions of vibrance. A feast for the eyes.
Round and round it goes. Round and round you go.
It doesn't matter whether you want this or not.
In the emptiness of space, there's nothing to hold on to. There's nothing to cling onto.
You might want to move but you are floating in the void. Try as you might, you can't.
So stop trying. And keep staring.
Your mind begins to feel the effects of those colors spinning away. Shining in your pupils as you spin along.
You are there now.
This is what trance feels like.
You are captivated. Unable to move. Happy to stay.
Perfect quiet. Perfect bliss.
You feel sleepy.
There's nothing else for you to do anyway.
Sleep.
Close your eyes.
Submit to the pretty colors.
Spin away in the darkest depths of nothingness.
Mesmerized.
Hypnotized.
Spin away as your mind slips away.
Spin away as you give in to sleep.
Sleep.
Sleep until someone out here finds you.
Whatever or whoever put those shiny colors there for you to get sleepy at.
They will find you. They will keep you safe, just like their colors are doing.
They will make sure you are never lost again.
But for now, you can enjoy being lost.
Lost in colors. Lost in sleep. Lost in space.
Sleep.
Sleep.
Sleep.
