Hey guys! How’s it going? 🥰🥰Bringing you another weekly update, and first of all, I want to apologize for not posting earlier. These past few days have been a bit complicated for me, and I ended up getting stuck on a few remake scenes, which slowed me down and frustrated me a little. But little by little, I’m managing to get things done. 🥹
Honestly, this challenge has made me reflect a lot. “Is it really worth all this effort for an image that will only be seen for a few seconds?” I keep asking myself. (Seriously, you’d be impressed if you saw how much time I spend analyzing and editing each image.)
I’ve mentioned before that nowadays I usually spend a few hours finishing a single image, and remaking the first chapters hasn’t been as easy as I thought. I want to move forward quickly to Chapter 05, but at the same time, I don’t want to rush things or do a sloppy job. Sometimes I even get the strong urge to completely rewrite some scenes from scratch, since a lot of the older dialogues are way too simple. Honestly, balancing all of this is tough!
The good news is that despite the struggles, I am making progress. I’d say I’m about 50% done with what I want for the remake, and I believe I can wrap it up by mid-October, around the 20th.
After the remake, I’ll do everything I can to release Chapter 5 as soon as possible, even if that means working 16 hours a day. That’s it for now. For the moment, enjoy this awesome comparison showing the evolution of our dear MC and the artwork! 📈
