Today’s post is a little different. I want to talk about a few different parts of the project, share some updates about what is coming next, and also be a bit more open about what has been going on behind the scenes.
First, the Steam page launch is getting very close! 🎮
I admit, I am really proud to see My True Desire becoming more professional with each update. Seeing the project move in this direction is honestly very exciting, and I cannot wait for the game to have its official page on one of the biggest PC gaming platforms in the world!
Right now, I am waiting for the store approval, and I still need to create the trailer for the game. Speaking specifically about the trailer, I would really appreciate any recommendations for an editor who has experience with this kind of work. I am having some trouble finding the right freelancer, and making the trailer myself would take quite a lot of time.
So, if you know someone who could help with that, please send me a message!
Now, talking a bit about Chapter 06:
Following the roadmap, the chapter is still planned for June, but I want to be transparent with you. We are basically entering May now, which means I have, at most, around 60 days to finish Chapter 06, and the chapter is still in the very early stages of production.
I know that might sound strange, especially considering Chapter 05 was released 4 weeks ago, but believe it or not, these past few weeks were mostly used to fix everything that had been left behind, polish the game, prepare everything for the Steam release and finally take a short break after months of working way too much. 😅
I will still do my best to release the chapter in June, but I want to be upfront with everyone: Chapter 06 will not be as big as the previous chapters, especially compared to how massive Chapter 05 was.
This chapter will probably be one of my biggest narrative challenges so far, especially because of the limited time I have and the shorter length the chapter will likely have. Wrapping up the events of Chapter 05, introducing a new plotline, and keeping the couple’s eroticism and NTS progression moving in a natural way will not be easy.
So send me your positive energy, because I really want to pull this off masterfully. 🙌
Either way, you can be sure that I will do my best. At the end of the day, I believe I will find a good path for the story, and I am excited to see how everything comes together.
Lastly, I want to apologize for not being as active here on Patreon as I would like to be.
The more the project grows, the more responsibilities fall on me. Looking for animators, voice actresses, AI tools, managing the community, dealing with bureaucracy, accounting, advanced programming... man, it is a lot.
And going a little into the personal side, this past week has been difficult, and the next ones probably will not be easy either. My relationship is going through a sensitive moment, and I have been feeling pretty sad. I will not go into details here, because I know that may not be interesting to everyone, but I wanted to be honest and say that it also affects my motivation sometimes.
Still, I am here, I am working, and I care a lot about this project.
Other than that, that is it for now. I know this post ended up being a bit long and covered a lot of different topics, but I really enjoyed sharing all of this with you.
