Hey, my dears! 💜How’s everyone doing? I hope you’re all doing well.
I’m bringing you a slightly longer dev update today to talk about some of the things that have happened over the past few weeks, as well as the release forecast for the next chapter.
First of all... ahhh. These past few weeks haven’t been easy. In the last dev update, I mentioned that I was dealing with some relationship issues, and I have to admit, it hit me pretty hard. On top of that, I went camping with two friends, and the experience wasn’t exactly great. Besides getting into a fight with one of them, and probably losing that friendship, the trip also left me with a nasty throat infection, so I ended up spending several days stuck in bed. A few other minor things happened as well, but they’re not really worth mentioning.
I’m sharing these personal things because they ended up slowing down the production of the new chapter quite a bit. To be completely honest with you, there’s a chance I may have to delay its release a little because of those things, but I’ll do everything I can to avoid that.
And speaking of the chapter... wow. Every chapter comes with its own production challenges, and this one is no different. But honestly, my biggest challenge right now is stopping myself from getting distracted every five minutes, haha! 😅
This chapter is going to be smaller, with fewer dialogues and probably fewer images, but it’s definitely going to leave an impact. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you exactly what’s going to happen, but... I can say that things are going to heat up, new kinks will be introduced, and some existing ones will be explored in greater depth. 👀🔥
Since not everyone enjoys the same things, I’ll try to include plenty of variation in the scenes, giving players as much freedom as possible to choose what they want to see and what they don’t. That said, for now, the plan is for some kinks to be unavoidable, whether you like them or not. I think that adds an enjoyable element to the characters’ corruption and also gives the game more personality.
And finally, I know many of you are probably waiting for a teaser, or maybe not, but don’t worry... the trailer plan is still on track. I want to finish more images before deciding which ones will make it into the trailer and which ones will be released as standalone teasers. Either way, I’m not too worried about that part yet.
