Updated the link. I tried to finish it to a more or less adequate state. I am very upset that I did not carefully study the resources before starting work. The game is terrible and the models/textures are the same. In the game itself, it was not thought that the player would go outside the house, so what was there outside the gate was simply "no" quality. I just made the space up to the sky bigger so that I could put up some models...
UPD: Because of the two bush models, sfm for some reason stubbornly continued to crash, I even tried to reduce the number of polygons or change the smooth groups, but nothing helped. I had to replace these blank models. This issue is relevant only for sfm. In gmod, these models work without problems. Please redownload the archive, it should be called gm_dh_desmond_house_v1_fix.7z
I really regretted taking on a level from a failed game made for a case of beer... Most of the models are auto-generated LODs, and it doesn't matter what they look like; many had to be tweaked to make them look presentable.
Many bumpmaps are completely unsuitable for use in the Source Engine. It's strange how they work in the game itself. Almost everywhere where the bump should be a plane, there's a gradient, which ultimately turns the plane into a raised effect (like a pillow).
Many models do not have their own unique textures, they simply use a repeating texture, which greatly spoils the appearance of the models.
I got sick towards the end of the month and slept for days 😫, simply because I didn't have time to finish the map. I'll try to finish it when things get better (I'll just update this post).
