Isawa Norio is a young shugenja (mage/spiritualist) of the mystical Phoenix Clan. Though all the clans of Rokugan boast shugenja among their samurai caste, those of the Phoenix Clan are especially renowned for their magical mastery of the elementals, including the enigmatic element of Void.
