Hey everyone! How are you doing? 😊
First of all, we’d like to thank you for all the support and patience from our community. Every single one of you who has supported us over the past few months has made a huge contribution to the growth of this project. You are amazing!
We’d also like to reinforce that we don’t want delays like this to happen again. From now on, we’ll be much more careful when setting dates for our updates, so we don’t frustrate you and also avoid putting excessive pressure on our team.
We hope you enjoyed version 1.1. We know it is still a short version, and that’s why we wanted to take a moment to clarify a few things.
• We made a lot of progress on the foundation of the game. As you could see, we now have more locations available, all working across different times of the day. We also have a more advanced prototype of the work system, along with several other small features that you’ve been able to follow more closely through our game updates. 🚀
• The game still feels empty in some areas, and we ask for your patience with that. Making a game like this is a lot of work, and we only started this project a few months ago. We’re learning from the process, understanding each step better, fixing our mistakes, and making considerable progress.
• Implementing quests takes a lot of time, and in this version we were mainly able to progress with some of Stephanie’s quests and the pool day. But if you explore carefully, there is already a lot of hidden content that players can find while navigating around the house. 👀
• Our goal is to keep shortening the time between updates until we can eventually reach a monthly update schedule. That means every month you would receive an update with new quests, story, and content. However, at this moment, it is still not possible for us to maintain that pace safely.
• The next updates will be focused mainly on two things: implementing many more quests and story content, and continuing to polish the game so it looks better and better. You probably noticed that the game already feels much more professional now. We implemented several screens, details, and improvements that help create that feeling, but there is still a lot to be done.
• Translations have also been a major problem for us. The way we currently handle translations is not working well, and it has been consuming a lot of the team’s time — time that could be used to create more content.
Because of that, we’ll invest some time into studying and implementing a new translation workflow for the game. If we don’t find a satisfying solution, we may release the next versions only in English until we find a truly viable path.
• Our writing and story will also keep improving! We hired a writer and are currently integrating him into the team. It’s a process of change and adaptation, but soon you’ll notice a huge improvement in the characters, dialogue, and quests. ✍️
• We also need to find a healthier way to deliver satisfying content to you without forcing our team to work excessively. As the project has grown, we realized that some things that needed to change were not as obvious before, but now they are. We’ve already identified these issues and will be working to fix them over the next few weeks.
That’s it, everyone. Please know that our team is paying close attention, we believe 100% in this project, and we are always trying to improve. We listen closely to our fans, and if something is going in the wrong direction, we’ll correct it, adjust the path, and keep working to create an amazing game. ❤️
Thank you so much for all your support, and have a great weekend!
