DESCRIPTION

Sup Goodies, how are you doing? Hope you’re all doing great!

Here at Good Luke Studios, we’re putting the house in order after this last development phase. This week was heavily focused on organization, internal testing, and preparing the foundation that will allow us to greatly speed up the production of future missions and content.

🎨 Art

This week, we continued organizing things and officially started producing new content.

We’re making great progress on the development of our mission creator software. Internal testing has already started, we’ve identified some issues and bugs that need to be fixed, and if everything keeps moving well, it may already be working in production next week.

We also started developing the interior of Donna’s house and Stephanie’s house. These new environments will be very important for upcoming events, and in the next update, you should already see several missions using these locations.

On top of that, we made progress on the writing and character missions. Some missions have already started development, and in the coming weeks, we should be moving into a much stronger production rhythm.

At the request of many players, we also started developing a new menu where you’ll be able to revisit animations and the best frames from any character. The image below is only a prototype, so the visuals and structure may still change before the final version.

We’re also testing all of our models and fixing possible bugs that could slow down production later. This is a slower process that may take several weeks, but it’s extremely important to guarantee a more efficient, safe, and stable production pipeline.

💻 Programming

🗨️ NPC Routine Dialogue System

We implemented a new dynamic dialogue system for NPCs in their daily routines, centralizing character interactions into a dedicated structure and turning NPC clicks into a contextual options menu.

Now, dialogues and interactions are built dynamically based on mission requirements, flags, day progression, time period, affinity, and other conditions already present in the project.

We also removed the old behavior where certain quest interactions would jump directly into a specific scene. Now, these interactions appear as options inside the same menu, making everything clearer, more organized, and easier to expand.

On top of that, we added a persistent affinity base for each character, with support for milestones and dialogue rewards. This prepares the game for more progressive, natural, and reactive relationships.

In simple terms: talking to NPCs is now much more organized, scalable, and contextual, with options that change according to the current state of the game.

🔥 Spicy Scene Gallery in the Main Menu

We created the first version of the spicy scene gallery accessible from the main menu, organized by character and directly connected to the story scenes that already exist in the game.

This system records which scenes the player has already seen and unlocks them in the gallery persistently. We also added a safe structure to run these scenes outside the main narrative flow, ensuring that the player returns correctly to the gallery screen after each piece of content ends.

In addition, we added checks at the end of supported scenes to automatically mark progress, and we documented the mapping of available scenes, making future expansion and maintenance much easier.

In simple terms: the game now has its own gallery where players can revisit unlocked adult scenes.

🧪 Gallery Testing and Organization Tools

We expanded the gallery infrastructure with a test flag that instantly unlocks all scenes during development.

We also created a character-based index documenting wrappers, entry labels, and return points. This greatly improves internal validation, content control, and structure maintenance as new scenes are added.

In simple terms: the gallery is now much easier to test, review, and continue evolving without messing up the main game flow.

📱 Gallery App on the In-Game Phone

We also started integrating the gallery into the in-game phone through its own dedicated app, including an icon, a dedicated screen, visual assets, and navigation inside the mobile interface.

This app already supports automatic listing of available images, persistent photo unlocking, a visual thumbnail grid, expanded image viewing, and opening/closing animations for the images.

With this, the gallery is no longer only a main menu feature. It is now starting to become part of the phone experience inside the game itself.

In simple terms: the phone is also starting to work as a visual unlockable gallery within the story.

We’re still in a phase of reorganization and preparation, but this foundation is extremely important so that future content can be produced with more speed, safety, and quality.

Thank you for continuing to follow the development of Good Luke. Step by step, the new systems are coming together, and this will open the door for many new missions, scenes, and interactions in future updates.
