Sup Goodies, how are you doing? Hope you’re all doing great!
This week, things flowed really well. We made good progress on our tasks, and production is picking up more and more speed.
📝 Writing & Translations
We reviewed all of our text and, based on that, we redid the translations for every language.
They are still not perfect, but little by little, we are getting more satisfying results and improving the overall quality of the experience for players from different countries.
🧩 Mission Development
Creating missions is much more work than it may seem.
We need to plan everything very carefully so that a choice made in one mission does not cause problems in another. Because of that, there is a lot of preparation, structure, and planning involved before a mission can actually enter production.
Our writer is finishing his training, and now that he understands the mission dynamics much better, as well as the personality of our world and characters, the tendency is that more and more missions will become ready for production over time.
🏠 New Environments
We made great progress on the creation of the new scenarios.
This week, we focused a little more on Stephanie’s house, and we can already show you a bit of how it is looking. Keep in mind that this is still a work in progress, so it does not represent the final quality yet.
🛠️ Mission Creator
Our mission creator keeps getting better and better.
We are already testing it inside the production workflow, and through these tests, we are collecting feedback to fix bugs and improve features.
🎬 First Missions in Production
And as we mentioned before, since the mission creator has entered the testing phase, we have also started producing missions.
We are still moving slowly because not everything is fully ready yet, but the first missions are already being built. Below, you can see a small sample of what is coming.
💻 Player Computer
WE ARE DEVELOPING THE PLAYER’S COMPUTER!
That’s right, we are making Luke’s computer a usable item. It will have a role in several missions throughout the next updates, and below you can see some images from its development.
📱 Programming
This week, we made progress on a few different fronts of Good Luke.
The phone gallery received a new photo navigation system. Players can now open a photo and move between available images using left and right controls, with slide animations, dedicated navigation arrows, and a close button. The gallery grid was also adjusted visually so the photos fit more cleanly inside the phone interface.
We also added a new batch of gallery assets for the main menu gallery, including character cards, backgrounds, sprites, thumbnails, and interface buttons.
Shawna’s gallery assets were organized into their own character folder, replacing the older generic “hoes” naming with proper Shawna-specific paths.
On the content side, new draft scenes were added through the scene composer. This includes early work for Nancy’s next mission flow, a Shawna-related gallery/composer scene draft, and a draft Vivian Act 10 scene with branching dialogue.
These are still draft and composer files, but they already represent active story and scene development for upcoming content.
Behind the scenes, we also improved our internal workflow. The project now has better AI and collaboration documentation, Ren’Py UI guidelines, review helpers, and a cleaner documentation structure.
This should make future UI work, scene implementation, translations, and review passes faster and more consistent.
In short: better gallery navigation, more gallery assets, new scene drafts, and stronger internal tooling for the next development steps.
❤️ Thank You
That’s it, guys!
As you can see, we are always progressing toward a more complete and fun game. Our production has improved a lot, and with each passing week, we are organizing things better so that very soon we can really start flying.
Thank you so much for all the support you have given to the project. Without you, none of this would be possible!
