DESCRIPTION

Here it is! The 'dear lord why would someone make such a thing' animation! Does not really fit my headcanon, but hey, it's a white girl thing yes? At first there is disdain and disgust, then acceptance and disgrace! Maybe even love? Who knows.

Whatever makes this appealing, I tried, but I still couldn't do it justice, and the end is kinda abrupt... There is so little you can do without context, I should really start adding dialogue and story to my videos... Too much work !!

The biggest reason for this delay is probably my own indecisiveness, alas nothing I would say can justify the time it took... I had the idea for this video even before I finished the beach episode, and the idea was a short (rough), low-effort video to introduce the character and have a reason to do a threesome later on... Yam was my first target, but on later thought I want the cutie patootie to be saved for last (Totally not due to frustrating issues with the probably-before-blender-era model). So I went into this half-heartedly, likewise the animation work process kinda just became a mindless struggle of doing this and that, but it wouldn't sit well with me if I made something low-effort from the start.

Also I crammed a heck lot of special FX, some copied, some from tutorials online, yeah, I had no clue what I was doing. Simple graphics have their own charm... I am yet to settle on the vividness, the colours still don't mesh, perhaps I am missing edgelines/rimlightning? And I am starting to dislike the soft shadows and depth blur, I guess I am going full circle. Nothing beats the charming subtle lines of my magnum opus beach episode! Why were things so much easier back then... I didn't had doubts about my animation quality that time, since I never had any before then!...

I still struggle with liquid physics, this made the climax scene unsatisfying by my standards, which by my standards is also the most important part. But the longer the animation, the more difficult it is to put in effort towards the end. Should I do things backwards?

Recently I gained a renewed interest in more semi-real characters after Stellar Blade, but I am bothered by the facial expressivity of the characters, it might be difficult not to edge the uncanny valley. But first things first. I have two more works, one that has been going since the start of the year, it is unbelievably technical. A total walk in the dark. But so was everything new I tried up till this point! See you there...

...Love must be the reason why, I still believe in this lie~~
