Would You Consider A Higher Tier Membership If It Offered NFSW NPC Mods? (RESULTS)
DESCRIPTION

(We have what are probably the final results of the poll, give or take.

I've considered both the overall poll results as well as different comments made by members. This was just a hypothetical, in the end. It is possible I could try something like this in the future, but if so, it would be quite a ways out. Some suggested that if an exclusivity of certain mods were to be added to our higher tier, paid skin mods would be preferable. Personally, I'm not totally on board with this, because even though only some people purchase paid skins, it is still technically content for playable characters, which I would want to avoid separating from the standard membership tier most people join. I think a good compromise to this has been the decision to make paid skin mods Patreon exclusive moving forward. I will still release free versions of them on other platforms, but the full mods will be only here.

The reason I posed this question in the first place is because I wanted to see if something more niche, like NPC mods, was something not everyone cared about but to offer an option for those few who did. Some of the issues that would come from this would be that many NPC mods already exist for a plethora of different characters, apparently NPC models have a propensity towards breaking after patch updates, and of course, the time investment involved.

I'm looking at it from two angles. Of course, creating something that can increase revenue for the page is a net positive, I won't deny that, but more than that, I was looking for a way to offer NPC mods to those wanting them (an added work load on top of my existing projects), while making it a worthwhile time investment. I essentially treat this as a job and a mainline income source now. So, as much as I enjoy the creative process, I do have to look at it as a business operation.

Maybe what I'll do, sometime in the future, is create one or two NPC mods for some of the most popular ladies, and see what the reception is like, as well as the time investment needed to complete them. From there, I'll decide if making more mods would be worth it and whether or not it should be something added as a membership exclusive benefit. Again, this would be quite a ways down the line. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for the feedback)

The question has been posed to me a few times and I've thought about the possibility, The main concern I had was placing a new work load on top of what I'm already doing. If I did this in the future, it would have to be at a point when I feel I am not over-encumbered with a backlog of mod projects. Perhaps once I have caught up with mods for most Arknights characters. Getting to that point with Zenless would take much much longer.

So, if I did do this, I wanted to know what the community reception would be and what value these mods would have. I know there are already plenty of NPC mods out there, but apparently some people really want those mods but with my modding style.

Mods of this sort would pretty much be exclusively ZZZ, since Arknights doesn't really have a larger roster of recognizable NPCs that you regularly engage with.

The idea would be to basically to begin creating mods for the most popular NPCs, first. More complex mods the more important the NPCs, simpler mods for those lesser so ones. Once a good number of mods are finished, access to these would then be incorporated into membership benefits for "The Adoring Fan" tier. I want to continue increasing the value of this tier so that it feels less like a simple donation tier and instead like a deep content offering.

Let me know your thoughts below!
