in a photo, in a voice memo, in written or spoken word… that’s me? that was then?
but it’s not me. that’s why i don’t recognize myself. that was someone at some point in time, but the only me is the me of right now. everything else was just some sliver of time captured to tell the truth about an existence of then.
i only ever exist now.
