Hi guys this is a news/update post telling you guys what my team and me have been working on!!!

Today's update brings another round of progress on the Battle Maidens project, with improvements to Maria's training sequence (This is for a minigame I'll release here so stay tuned), new additions to our animation library, and the first steps toward a shared scene featuring Maria and Grace.

For all of you who entered this month just for the LISA COMIC,

She is part of a bigger idea called BATTLE MAIDENS, where some hot fighters try to win a tournament and get their wishes come true!

In the chat I decided to share a little preview of something I want to do with one of the other Maidens, Grace Graham A.K.A Pumpkin Pie: she is a housewive really in love with her husband that has to find out why he disapeared and why he is connected with the evil organization called NOISE, entering the tournament.

This week we refined Maria's training environment inside Unity, continued improving her expressions and animation flow, expanded the animation library with new base model sequences, made further progress on Supergirl's scene, and began developing a brand-new animation featuring Maria and Grace together.

We start with a new look at Maria inside her training arena.

This version is fully running in Unity, giving us a much clearer idea of how the environment, lighting, and character work together during gameplay.

Here's another preview focused on the updated physics.

The latest adjustments make the movement feel smoother and help the animation flow more naturally.

We also added another animation to our base model library.

These animations serve as a foundation for future characters, allowing us to prototype new ideas much faster before adapting them to specific models.

The training scene also received another visual pass.

We introduced volumetric lighting and reorganized the color palette to create a more dramatic atmosphere while keeping the scene readable during gameplay.

One change we're still planning is softening Maria's default serious expression. This should create a stronger emotional contrast whenever she loses and reacts during the animation.

Here you can see the updated facial expressions for both victory and defeat.

These subtle changes help give Maria more personality and make each animation feel more expressive.

We also expanded the animation library with another new movement sequence.

Like the previous additions, this will become part of our growing collection of reusable animations for future characters.

Work also continued on Supergirl's scene.

The environment is beginning to take shape, and we continued refining the character's physics to achieve smoother and more believable movement.

To finish today's update, here's the first preview of a brand-new animation featuring Maria and Grace together.

It's still at a very early stage, but we're excited about the direction it's taking and can't wait to continue developing it.

Thank you all for your continued support and for following the development week after week. Every update brings these projects one step closer to the quality we're aiming for, and we're excited to share even more progress with you soon.
