And about time, too! It seems to me MaketheKholinBoysHappy week, so I’ll oblige. I toed around this one for ages, and now gave it a go with the Shinhan Pass hybrid gouache/watercolours. And they're so fun!
They dry really fast, have this soft, creamy look, but can be layered and glazed like watercolour. I'm liking them a lot more than I thought I would! And I actually find it less hard to ease into a new medium than to try and pick up the thread of an old one (watercolour) whose accustomed look eludes me now. I was scared to try them, but it seems it was just the thing.
Now I just wish I could order single tubes more easily if I run out. Maybe I’ll just be weird and try mixing watercolour and gouache paints in the same pan?! 🥴
