Hey everyone!
Been a slow couple of weeks as I took some days off resting my eyes from computer screens and spending some time doing outdoor activities. I had some "issue" happening for like a year or so but on rare occasions where my vision would blur and make reading text super hard (vision migraine).
Since it would happen once a month or two I did not really pay much attention to it, but for the last couple of months, I had it very bad, with some weeks happening every two or each day, it would last for 1 hour following a slight headache for the rest of the day after it comes back to normal.
It hasn't happened for the last two weeks, so that's great, at least.
I have to say, vision migraine sucks very much. Especially after effect that makes you feel "bad". Thankfully, my "headaches" were small, but it sucked when it was happening frequently. Very weird and super annoying.
It did cause me some concern, especially for last month happening so frequently, but don't want to alert anyone as I think it's getting better thanks to vitamins and probably special glasses designed for prolonged hours of work with the computer screens.
Anyways, enough of that.
That's a bit of text not related to the actual development of the game, but I just felt like sharing some little thing that was happening in my personal life.
So, I've been working on chapter 6 a little bit this week, but the story update suppose to be released next month (September). If things go smoothly, it'll come out before the second half of the month.
It supposes to be a more "chill" chapter with events leading to the next chapter (7), but we're still getting some hot scenes WITH A NEW GIRL which whom the "main character" did not have interaction before!
She appeared briefly in the last chapter, can you guess who?
I really wanted to make her a fourth main heroine, but I'm not sure if I want to complicate things any further by making her a significant character like Otsu, Nekomi, or Kisayo considering that it is extra work on character development and routes.
It's not easy to pass her, but I have to ask myself, would she add much to the main story? Why we would add her? Just because she looks cool?
She'll have a place in the story and some "fun times", but if we make her the main heroine, that means multiple months of work to develop her and I do not see it as a necessity for the story.
I rather have "EvilFuzzy" focus writing on the main story and already established characters.
WE STILL HAVEN'T TIME TO BANG KISAYO! (but it's coming soon :wide_grin:)
Some expressed their concerns that it's taking time for her "debut", but even if I saw multiple opportunities for it, I agree with EvilFuzzy approach to wait for a perfect opportunity, to make the scene more "rewarding".
It would be easy to throw a random scene, but Kisayo is like a fine wine, we need time for it to "age" perfectly.
So, that's the plan for story chapter 6 coming out in September, not much to be said, maybe I'll talk more about the content in future development progress updates.
BUT that does not mean nothing extra coming out this month. If things go well, I'll be releasing a small gameplay update next week. Mostly regarding new oiran etc.
A usual spanking and training session will be necessary.
