Due to some ongoing responsibilities (YCHs, other projects that are in the works, family events) and the start of a heat wave where I'm at, my work has been a bit slower than anticipated, and I don't think I can get my next exclusive done by tonight before June ends. I should be able to get something out before the weekend, but I apologize for the delay from my usual schedule. If anyone who was a member for June but cancelled for July and will be unable to access the last "June" exclusive due to the delay, send me a message and I'll gladly share it with you!
And now, onto the poll for a question I've had on my mind:
Would you guys be interested in me doing mini-comics as an option for exclusives that I feel particularly inspired by?
This does carry a significant caveat: I would most likely need to do exclusive comics in less refined, sketchier styles to make sure I have enough time to do them as my usual finishing processes with linework and shading takes up a significant amount of time when scaled up to comic projects. This isn't to say I would completely switch over to comics, or that I would never make an exclusive comic with linework and shading, I just wanted to gauge interest in it as an option I could turn to when I felt a particular inspiration for certain characters or scenarios. I understand if, to some, a single fully lined and shaded piece is more desirable than a less refined comic, but I suppose I don't actually know if that's the case or not with my audience at large! I'd love to hear your thoughts, and don't be afraid to leave a comment if you have questions or additional thoughts on this. I'll close the poll in a week and will make my final decision then.
