“What the hell is this?!” Elaine called from the front door.
A large package had just arrived, addressed to her girlfriend. It took up half the hallway.
“Did I get a package?” Alex called from the next room.

“Um, are you going to clear away the box?” Elaine asked, following Alex.
“Yeah sure, let me just find a place for this.” She picked up the mini cow and moved it in front of the armchair in the corner.
“Do we really need that?”
“Oh come on, this is great! And it was such a good deal!”
“Just because something is on offer, doesn’t mean you need to buy it, Alex.”
“Are you sure?” Alex turned around to face Elaine, a quizzical look on her face.
“What is that look? What else have you bought?”
“Okay, don’t get mad…” Alex started.
“I absolutely do not promise that.”
“But do you remember when we got super drunk and you told me about your fantasy?” Alex braced for Elaine’s answer, grimacing.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe you remembered that!” Elaine covered her face with her hands. “I’ve never told that to anyone, not even my exes!”
“Well what if I told you that we could make that happen?”
“W-what? How? Is that physically possible? Is it even legal?” Elaine peeked out of her hands.
“Oh it’s possible.” Alex replied, nodding. “And legality is a grey area. But is that going to stop you from fulfilling your wildest desires?”

That evening, they stood in the kitchen looking at a small bottle of pills.
“This is it?” Elaine asked.
“This is it. Got them off a guy on the internet.” Alex replied.
“Wait what?! A guy off the internet? How do you know they aren’t poisonous?”
“I’ve bought tons of shit off this guy, he’s legit!”
Elaine picked up the bottle and looked it over.
“It’s out of date!”
“It’s fiiine, medication doesn’t go off!”
“It very much does!”
“I’ve used off medication before and I’ve been fine. But, if you don’t want it, then I can get rid of it for you.” Alex moved to grab the pills off Elaine, but she snatched them back.
“I didn’t say that I didn’t want it, I just wanted to make sure it was safe, that’s all.”
“Sooo, you want it?” Alex teased with a smirk.
“How long will it last?”
“A couple hours at most?”
In response, Elaine shook out a pill from the bottle and swallowed it dry.
“Oh my god, it always freaks me out when you do that. Do it with water like a normal person.”
Elaine turned to look sternly at Alex.
“No.”
A moment passed.
“So what happens now? When does it kick in?”
“Not sure. I haven’t used these ones before.” Alex said, reading the label on the bottle.
“Oh great. You’d better hope I don’t grow an extra arm!”
“You won’t grow an extra arm…” Alex replied, coolly.
“Ugh you bitch, I can’t believe you got my hopes up for nothing!” Elaine bopped Alex on the shoulder. “These pills are use-OOP!”
Alex snapped to attention.
